When a 20 footer is more than you need
Not every job calls for a big box. Sometimes you have a tight backyard, a short driveway, or a corner of a lot that a larger container would swallow whole. That is where a 10 foot container earns its keep.
It still holds a real amount of gear, mowers, tools, seasonal clutter, business inventory, without eating your whole yard. It sits at ground level so you walk right in, no ramp and no lift. And because it is welded steel, it locks down far tighter than any plastic shed or storage pod.

Here are the numbers for a standard 10 foot container. Exact figures shift a little by manufacturer, so treat these as typical rather than exact.

New or used, and what to expect
Most 10 foot containers we deliver are new one-trip units, since used 10 footers are less common in the market than 20s and 40s. When we do have cargo worthy used 10 footers, they get the same licensed inspection as everything else we sell.
We sell and recommend two grades.

One thing worth knowing. Some sellers list wind and water tight units as cargo worthy at a small discount, which sets the wrong expectation for the buyer. When we call a container cargo worthy, that grade comes from a licensed inspection, not a guess. Our containers arrive fully water tight, operational, and guaranteed. Make it yours
A 10 foot container is a blank steel room, which makes it easy to fit out. We do the work in-house before it ships, so it shows up ready to use. Popular add-ons for a 10 footer include:

Every cut opening gets welded steel reinforcement before the hardware goes on. Standard modifications take 3 to 5 weeks depending on scope. Colors can be requested, though we cannot always guarantee an exact match since inventory rotates.

The container is small, but the truck that brings it is not. The good news is a 10 footer needs very little room to sit once it is off the trailer. Here is what to sort out first.
How it arrives
- Our own CDL-licensed drivers deliver on a tilt-bed trailer. The bed lifts and the container slides right off where you want it.
- A 10 footer costs the same per mile to deliver as a 20, so the small size carries no small-load penalty.
- Standard placement is included at no extra charge.
- Standard delivery runs 12 to 18 business days, with 6 to 11 or 3 to 5 day options when you need it sooner. No weekend deliveries.
Prep your site
- Firm, level ground. A 10 footer has a small footprint, so a modest gravel pad or a level patch of yard is usually plenty.
- Leave a clear straight approach so the truck can back in and tilt the bed. This is the part people forget on tight lots.
- Check overhead clearance for branches and power lines, and flag them when you schedule.
